Edward Karahadian III, DDS
Edward Karahadian III, DDS, a lifelong Fresno resident, received his undergraduate degrees in Zoology, Chemistry, and Art from California State University, Fresno (CSUF). After receiving his doctorate in dental surgery from UCLA Medical Center in 1982, Dr. Karahadian returned to Fresno, and began practice.Dr. Edward has completed the entire post doctoral curriculum of the L.D. Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education in Miami, Florida, a teaching center that provides diagnostic and technical skills ranging far beyond traditional dental education.
Dr. Edward has also trained and presented cases with the UCLA Aesthetic Continuum, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the Academy of Laser Dentistry. He has also completed coursework on Sleep Disordered Breathing taught by Dr. John Remmers of the University of Calgary, one of the world's foremost authorities on Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Dr. Edward is a co-founder of Advanced Dental Concepts, a local Study Club providing a forum of education on subjects from dental implantology to complex restoration of the entire mouth. Dr. Edward teaches valley dentists on the subjects of TMJ, advanced dentistry and aesthetics through learning clubs and at formal continuing education seminars. He has published several articles on various dental topics for regional magazines.
Dr. Edward resides in northeast Fresno with his wife, Allison, an Oncology RN, who also serves on the boards of several regional institutions. Their children, Matthew and Erin, attend University in San Diego.
