The DIAGNOdent® is another laser used for advanced diagnostic purposes. It pulses a special frequency of light into every spot in your teeth, seeking out areas of potential decay. In fact, it can find 50 percent of the decay that goes undetected by radiography - without exposing you to radiation. When we catch cavities this early, there's minimal drilling, and the restorations will be much smaller.
